On Friday, July 10th, every Star Wars fan held their breath as San Diego Comic-Con's Hall H filled for the Star Wars: The Force Awakens panel. Questions had been floating around the Internet: Would there be a new trailer? Which cast members will make an appearance? Did Harrison Ford fly to San Diego?
Meet Han Solo's wife: Sana Solo. She has her own ship which looks a lot like the Millennium Falcon. She comes down the ramp armed and looking for trouble. And if Disney was looking for trouble, it found it.
In November 2014, J.J. Abrams released his first teaser trailer for Episode VII and as we all lost our minds. I thought it was a brilliant introduction into Abrams vision of the Star Wars Universe. Others lost their minds because John Boyega was dressed in a Stormtrooper uniform. Collectively a thousand voices cried out “He’s not a Clone!” This is a misconception about the Empire’s deadly army that I want to set straight, Stormtroopers are not clones.
