Host of Cost to Cost AM
Art Bell, known for his paranormal themed show, Coast to Coast AM, has died. Bell passed away Friday at his Nevada home.
Coast to Coast AM was heard on 500 North American radio stations in the 1990s. The show aired from Bell’s hometown of Pahrump, Nevada. He had a short stint at SirusXM satellite radio in 2013.

Guinness World Record holder
A young Art first entered radio as a FCC licensed radio technician. He was only 13. Bell held the record for a solo broadcast marathon. Recognized by the Guinness World Records, the marathon banked 116 hours. The record breaking station was KSBK in Oknawa, Japan.
Here’s an interview Bell conducted with Neil deGrasse Tyson from fall, 2015.
