Maurice White, Dead at 74

Earth, Wind and Fire  danced their way through musical genres of soul, funk, disco, pop, rock, Latin, R&B and African. They’re known as one of the most successful bands of the 20th century.

White had a long battle with Parkinson’s, which he was diagnosed with in 1992 and his conditioned deteriorated in recent months. The disease got so bad that White was forced to stop touring in 1994.

Earth, Wind and Fire are known for a cluster of hits including; Shining Star, After the Love has Gone, September, and Boogie Wonderland.
