Why George Lucas is a laser brain on the Geeks and Beats Podcast

The countdown to the demise of the car compact disc player begins. Alanis King of Jalopnik joins us to look at the evolution of music in the auto industry. George Lucas steps in Bantha shit. We’ll tell you why the creator of Star Wars has no right to complain about being cut out of the latest film — and it has nothing to do with the 4 billion dollar payday. As Elvis Presley’s estate celebrates the king’s birthday, we’ll examine the seedy underbelly of his empire — and why The Beatles internet streaming has only just begun. Plus Tommy Lee’s rollercoaster of a ride into the sunset for Motley Crue.

  • What Star Wars cover music is used at the intro to that segment? (timecode 12:15 and again at 12:40).

Shazam won’t recognize it. Well to be fair it suggested Teil 4 – Die Drei Experten (Folge 2 – Der Heibe Kapitain). Some weird German spoken-word thing. Pretty sure that’s not it. 🙂
