Breaking records of breaking records, becoming the fastest movie to gross one billion dollars at the bank, it’s obvious that sooner or later, the frauds will come out to try to cash in. However, Mark Hamill is here to save the day. Hamill is taking to Twitter to confirm the authenticity of fan’s purchases.
“I’m so sorry there’s so many fans spending their hard-earned money for fraudulent signatures,” Hamill tweeted on Sunday. Hamill responded to several fans posting images of John Hancocks, both real and fake. “Use this example to judge any signatures you might contemplate buying in the future,” Hamill tweeted.
He has also been using hashtags, #FightFraud, #BeatTheDealers, and #FansRule. The actor tweeted, he’ll like tweets sent to him with real signatures.
REAL-That’s my old “M”, which I changed over the years. Rather than tweeting, I’ll “like” real signatures. #FansRule https://t.co/bCOoeDJ02U

Close call, but pretty sure it’s FAKE. Misspelled name a good indicator of a fake (& I’m not that good an artist) https://t.co/kpKfP3ZPkq
