A Jacksonville man who didn’t like his boyfriend’s taste in music made it evident by hitting him in the face with a plate, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
The 24-year old left a large cut on the side of 33-year old, Todd Fletcher’s face.
Allan Casey was arrested Saturday after police said he acted on his displeasure that Fletcher was listening to Ottawa-born songstress, Alanis Morissette.
“That’s all that (beep) listens to,” Casey said, according to a police report.
Police said Casey admitted hitting his boyfriend when an officer questioned him at a nearby park in San Marco.
