Dates Announced for Moogfest 2016

“Moogfest is a platform for conversation and experimentation with innovative programming that perfectly mirrors Durham’s momentum as a capital of technology, culture and entertainment,” says Emmy Parker, Brand Director at Moog Music.

The festival is a tribute to Dr Robert Moog, and the influence he made on how we hear the world. Bob Moog and Moog Music were frontrunners in pioneering the analog and synthesiser and other cool gadgets artists use to hone their craft. While the priority continues to be a focus on  “intimate venues for performance and conversation, encouraging the same ambience established in Asheville”, revealed the press release.  “Moogfest will activate many of Durham’s downtown event venues and public spaces with a mix of ticketed and free community programming.

The three-day festival has had artists, Kraftwerk, Brian Eno, Massive Attack, Flying Lotus, M83, The Flaming Lips, and Pet Shop Boys bless their stage.

The festival will go down May 19-22 2016. Limited number of Early Bird tickets are now up for grabs here for $99.00. For updates, Like their Facebook Page,  or Follow them on Twitter and Instagram
