Cut Copy, Send to Trash

I questioned the value of the Australian band Cut Copy’s promotion in last week’s episode in which six billboards placed at seemingly random locations around the world with nothing more than the name of their latest track. Ian retorts on Twitter:

He’s got a good point. We brought it up again this week because 2 hours after we finished talking about it, the band saved you from having to drive through the California desert with your iPhone’s location services turned on to hear the track.

And it’s just terrible.
