Sure, the guy who played Zuckerberg would be an odd choice to have play comic book badguy, Lex Luthor, but comic book geeks were salivating Wednesday night as Ben Affleck premièred the new trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Along with Jesse Eisenberg playing Luthor and Affleck portraying Batman, Henry Cavill wears the S on his chest, as the the The Last Son of Krypton.
“Civil liberties are being trampled on in your city, people living in fear,” Kent challenges Wayne once he’s identified him.
“The Daily Planet criticising those who think they are above the law – a little hypocritical wouldn’t you say?” Wayne counters. “Every time a hero saves a cat out of a tree, you write a puff-piece editorial.”
Just some of the great dialogue the two superheroes share in the trailer.
The Zack Snyder film also features Trinity, played by Gal Gadot.
“Is she with you?” asks Superman.
“I thought she was with you,” Batman bats back.
