The Incredible Unsinkable Ms Love

Nothing can keep Courtney Love down for long.

Last week, Parisian cab drivers were protesting the mobile car-hailing service Uber, following in the footsteps of their European Union colleagues and carrying on the great tradition of civil disruption across the Continent. But caught in the middle of those politely disrupting the peace and some less well-behaved folks with bats, Love found herself in a car under attack.

The whole ordeal was rather dramatic and looked pretty scary, based on the photos she posted on Twitter and Instagram.

“They’ve ambushed our car and are holding our driver hostage,” she tweeted, according to Billboard.

She wasn’t alone in the madness, it seems: In a subsequent tweet, she wrote: “Dude @Kanyewest, we may turn back to the airport and hide out with u. picketers just attacked our car,” using the hashtag #ParisUberStrike. “[T]hey’re beating the cars with metal bats. [T]his is France?? I’m safer in Baghdad.”
